The photos all look the same — turquoise water, white sand — but the trip underneath varies enormously: flight connections, rainy seasons, reef health, how far the "beachfront" resort actually is from the beach. I've sent travelers to enough islands to know which ones live up to the pictures.
Tell me what "relaxing" means to you — a swim-up bar and zero decisions, or a quiet stretch of sand with nobody else on it — and I'll narrow a long list down to two or three real options.
